How can I get navigation file updates?
To receive navigation file updates, when available, please follow the steps below. An Internet connection on the phone is required.

1. On your device's memory card or internal storage memory browse the folder "ROUTE66_V10/Data/Res/Extras" and delete the .navd files.

2. Open the ROUTE 66 Maps + Navigation application on the device. Press the "Menu" key and select "Licences - Navigation". The most recent navigation files available will be downloaded if an Internet connection is activated on the phone.

The Follow Me car is not displayed on the screen.
If you switched on the Follow Me view, all you need to do now is to wait a few moments for the Follow Me car to appear. The device must be correctly mounted so that the application can obtain an optimal result. Place your device in landscape mode and use a good quality car mount to secure your smartphone or tablet to the windscreen of your car. Make sure the suction cup or other objects do not block the view of the camera on the back of the device. For the best performance, mount the device in the centre of your windscreen in a position that does not obstruct your view.

The Follow Me car appears after the application manages to calculate the horizon line based on the images received from the camera. The calculation period depends on the images captured by the camera, on the available luminosity, on the camera's performance etc.

The calculation algorithm needs to "see" the road lines, so it can calculate the horizon line. In a few seconds (no more than 2-3 minutes) the Follow Me car should appear on the screen.

The horizon line cannot be accurately calculated and the Follow Me car will not be displayed if you are holding the device in your hand, if the camera is pointed to the ground or towards buildings or other objects. For optimal results use the Follow Me mode only in the car, using a car mount with a windscreen sucking cup and place the device somewhere in the middle of the windscreen height with the camera pointed to the centre of the lane.
