Is the calculation over sea possible?
It is possible to calculate a route over sea, but at the moment, none of the ROUTE 66 applications can skip segments of calculated routes. In order to find out only the number of kilometers that must be driven, the distance by ferry can be subtracted from the entire route distance.ROUTE 66 does not reply to any questions submitted through our feedback form. Is the Pedestrian mode navigation supported by the ROUTE 66 software?
Yes, the Pedestrian navigation mode is available in the ROUTE 66 products.
You must take into consideration that the quality of the navigation instructions for pedestrians is lower than the quality of instructions for car navigation. This is caused by limitations of the GPS system, not by limitations of the ROUTE 66 Mobile software. When moving on foot, the motion is more “Stop/Go” and the speed is generally low. This results in larger uncertainties in the directional information reported by the GPS receiver, on which the ROUTE 66 software depends for making correct and timely navigation instructions.

What are the additional costs after purchasing the product?
The route planning and navigation do not imply any additional costs. However the TMC service (traffic information) involves some extra costs. This service is optional. It helps you to avoid traffic jams, road works or accidents via dynamic routing.
The up-to-date traffic information that is downloaded from our web site is free of charge. The only additional cost is the GPRS DATA (not WAP) subscription needed to access the ROUTE 66 traffic info server.ROUTE 66 does not reply to any questions submitted through our feedback form. You can search for an address by using any of the following combinations:
- by street name and city name
- by house number and street name
- by street name and postcode
- by postcode and city name
Please note that the ROUTE 66 application does not use the full postcode to search for cities. What is the IMEI number?
The IMEI (short for International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique number given to every single mobile phone.
This number can be found by dialing on the phone the following code: *#06# (just like dialing a phone number) and the IMEI number will be displayed on the phone screen.

Your smartphone must have the following specifications in order to run ROUTE 66 Mobile 7 WMS:
- A free slot for an extra memory card (SD/miniSD)
- Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone operating system
- 16 MB free runtime memory
- Please note that this version is NOT compatible with Sony Ericsson UIQ and Symbian S60.
