This update will only work if you have bought a "ROUTE 66 Mobile 8 Windows Mobile" product.

Installation steps

1) Uninstall the old version by selecting Settings->System->Remove applications.

2) Download the update file from our web site and store it on a location on your computer.

3) Insert the memory card into the memory card reader/writer.

4) Run the update file from the location on your computer. The update will be installed on the memory card.

5) Remove the memory card from the memory card reader/writer and insert it into the device. The installation will proceed automatically and it will take a few seconds.

6) Start ROUTE 66 Mobile 8 WM, open 'Help' in the main menu, then select 'About Mobile'. If the update was successfully installed, the version number will read 8.0.6126.
