ROUTE 66 sells its products and services in the European, American and Asian markets. ROUTE 66 is well known for its pre-installed navigation solutions on Samsung and Nokia GPS phones. The European market is served from the office in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands.


To expand its European sales force, ROUTE 66 is currently looking for suitable candidates for the following vacancy:


ROUTE 66 Retail Account Manager for Eastern Europe


Your activities

Being responsible for all retail sales and coop marketing activities in your area

Acting as main contact person for resellers, distributors and press

Developing plans with your partners for the marketing of your products

Constantly looking for new channels for the sale of your products

Demonstrating your products to resellers, distributors and press

Spending about 50% of your time on international business trips

Confirming your verbal agreements in unambiguous writing

Reporting every second week to the Sales Manager in a sales meeting held in Amsterdam

Travelling every second week between Amsterdam and your sales territory

Your profile

You have a natural interest in markets, people and international business

You have a proven track record as a successful Account Manager

Your working attitude is result-driven with a high level of involvement

You are able to provide documentary evidence of your graduate status

You have a good command of the English language

Your enthusiasm for computer applications is above average

You come across as convincing and reliable in a personal conversation

Your age allows frequent international travelling

You are living either close to Amsterdam or in your sales area
