Senior Sales Manager for Southern Europe

ROUTE 66 is a globally operating software company, specialised in the field of GPS satellite navigation on smartphones. ROUTE 66 sells its products and services in the European, American and Asian markets. ROUTE 66 is well known for its pre-installed navigation solutions on Samsung and Nokia GPS phones. The European market is served from the office in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands.


To expand its European sales force, ROUTE 66 is currently looking for suitable candidates for the following vacancy:


Senior Sales Manager for Southern Europe


Your activities

Being responsible for the sales, margin and turnover of ROUTE 66 products in your sales territory (France, Italy, Spain and Portugal)

Acting as ROUTE 66 contact person for handset manufacturers, network operators, handset distributors and OEM partners

Developing plans with handset manufacturers, network operators, handset distributors and OEM partners for the sales and marketing of ROUTE 66 products and services

Demonstrating ROUTE 66 products to handset manufacturers, network operators, handset distributors and OEM partners

Constantly looking for new channels for the sales of ROUTE 66 products

Working from your home office in your sales territory or from the office in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands

Spending about 50% of your time on international business trips

Confirming your verbal agreements in unambiguous writing

Reporting every second week to the management of the company in a sales meeting held in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands

Your profile

You have a natural interest in markets, people and international business

You have a proven track record of at least 5 years as a successful Sales Manager in the IT industry

Your working attitude is result-driven with a high level of involvement

You are able to provide documentary evidence of your graduate status

You are able to communicate fluently in English and at least one of the following languages: French, Italian or Spanish

You are proactive and eager to win in the market place

You are an experienced negotiator and a team player

Your age allows frequent international travelling

You are living either close to Ridderkerk or in your sales territory
